By far the most popular modern design of flintknapping billet on the market, the copper bopper is famous for its ease of use and forgiving nature.

The domed copper capped head with soft lead core provides a forward weight feel to run those nice long, thinning flakes.

A nice medium between solid metal billets and soft antler billets, copper bopper style billets will 'pull' a flake off of a stone core leaving less damage and micro fractures in your piece than many of the alternatives. Great for heat treated material and obsidian.

The large modern precision knapping billet is perfect for large - medium points and blades and some finishing work.

Quality Hardwood handle with a rubberized non-slip coating.

1-1/4 inch outside diameter copper dome. Wood handle length is approx 5.25 inches. Sold individually. Made in the USA.

**Contains LEAD. After extended use, the copper cap will eventually wear through and/or the cap will become deformed enough to push the head off of the billet. It is best to discard and replace the billet at that point. Please follow local codes for proper disposal of lead containing products.
