Leather Leg Pad

Thick cow leather pad to protect your clothes and leg while flintknapping. Each Large leather pad is 18.5 x 10.5 inches. Expect some natural edges since these pads are cut from from thicker outer pieces of tanned cow leather. Leather thickness varies around 8-10 ounce. Most knappers find two of these stacked to be plenty of support for percussion and pressure flaking. Sold individually.

Tip: We find layering a leather pad on top of our modern rubber leg pad is very puncture resistant and particularly comfortable for long knapping sessions.
